Job Listing Terms & Conditions

1.  Introduction:  Please read the following information carefully.  It contains the terms and conditions related to the posting of jobs on this website.  If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you may not post a position on the job board.  Occasionally, it may be necessary to update these terms.  You are encouraged to return and review this document and understand any changes that have been made.  By accepting the terms, you are agreeing to also be bound by any future changes as long as you are registered and posting jobs.  The current effective date is May 1, 2009. 

2.  Definitions:  References to the following will be used throughout this document.  "The chapter" or "FWPMI" refers to the Fort Worth PMI Chapter, its board and officers.  "You" refers to the person or entity that is posting a job on the Chapter's website.

3.  Job posting guidelines:  To post a job on the chapter website, you must register and log-in to the website.  FWPMI officers are the sole interpreter of these guidelines when determining if you are in compliance.  Each job posting must abide by the following: 

  • The job posting must represent a current, genuine, existing employment opportunity within your company.  It may be a W-2 or 1099 position.  It must be complete enough for a potential prospect to understand the job requirements and description.  It must not contain a request or link such as "click here" or "email someone@company.com" to get more information.
  • Job postings must be in the project management profession or directly related to and include project management responsibilities.
  • By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that you are an authorized representative of your company given the rights and authority to post a job at the behest of your company.
  • Companies posting jobs on the website shall have and practice recruiting and hiring policies that are compliant with federal Equal Opportunity statutes.
  • The posting cannot contain language that is or may be offensive to others.  This would include defamatory, obscene, explicit and discriminatory comments.  Postings containing such language are not permitted and will be removed.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness and removal of any job postings that are placed on the Chapter website.
  • Your job posting must not contain links or URLs used for marketing purposes
  • Job postings cannot contain any copyrighted material unless you own the copyrights or any other information that may infringe upon proprietary, confidential, intellectual property or trademarks of others.
  • The Chapter reserves the right to remove any job posting(s) if it is fraudulent or contains questionable content
4.  Disclaimers & Limitations:
  • FWPMI assumes no responsibility or liability for any personnel you may select based on responses from your job posting on this website.  The selection, retention or hire of any individual is based solely on your investigation, verification and determination that such hire is suitable for your company's purposes
  • The Chapter does not endorse any entity or individuals found on the website and none shall be perceived by its users
  • There is no guarantee that you will find a suitable candidate for your job posting.  The Chapter boasts a growing population of local project management talent in many industries but each employment situation is different.  You are the final arbiter of who is a suitable candidate for your company
  • The Chapter's website provides a venue for employers to post job opportunities as a member courtesy.  The Chapter has no control over the quality, safety or accuracy of the material posted and accepts no liability in connection with such material.  Your agreement to these terms and conditions means that you ackowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of the material you submit.
  • The Chapter is an entirely volunteer-based organization without paid staff.  Job listings or resumes will be posted and approved as quickly as possible following your request but delays may occur as a result of this organizational structure
  • The material on this website is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties of any kind.  The Chapter disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, relating to the use of this material for any purpose.  The Chapter does not warrant that this website will operate uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the servers that make them available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • The job board (as well as all other areas of the Chapter website) incorporates the Chapter's privacy policy.  You will be required to create a log-in and register on the site.  Sprecific information will be collected.  Please review the privacy policy prior to providing your registration information
  • The chapter is under no obligation to monitor job postings but will randomly review them to make sure that no violations have occurred.
  • YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR YOUR USE OF THE SITE, THE INTERNET GENERALLY, THE INFORMATION YOU POST OR ACCESS AND FOR YOUR CONDUCT ON AND OFF THE SITE.  IN NO EVENT SHALL THE FWPMI CHAPTER (OR ANY OF ITS OFFICERS), BE LIABLE FOR ANY NON-DIRECT DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, INCIDENTIAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST DATA, LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) RESULTING FROM OR ARISING UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF ACCESS TO, OR IN THE INABILITY TO USE OR ACCESS, THE SITE AND/OR ANY DUCMENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT THE CHAPTER IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.  YOU AGREE TO HOLD THE FORT WORTH CHAPTER OF PMI (FWPMI) HARMLESS.
