Building a high performance team begins with understanding the role you play in conveying the vision and effectively communicating it to your team. Assessing your team members and understanding their communication styles achieves one aspect of high performance teams, but now it’s your responsibility to get their motivation focused on the goal.
Not every team is a high-performance team, but what does it mean to be a high-performance team?
Team: a group of people associated together in work or activity
High-performance team: a team, organization, or virtual group that is highly-focused on its goals and who achieves superior business results. High-performing teams outperform other similar teams, and they surpass expectations.
