Hiring the right project managers isn't easy. There is a lot of variation in technical and interpersonal skills and experience. Join us to learn how to develop a consistent and  effective process for selecting and hiring project managers.

Topics will include:

• Developing specific job criteria and descriptions
• How to screen resumes and evaluate them
• Preparing for candidate interviews

• Conducting candidate interviews


Our Speaker: Jim Mims 

Jim Mims has over 30 years of leadership experience and currently is the Information Technology PMO Manager for Colonial Savings in Fort Worth. Prior to Colonial, Jim was Managing Partner of Leadership Alternative, a consulting firm providing management and organizational consulting, as well as program and project management services. Prior to founding Leadership Alternative, Jim was a founding partner of Fluid Consulting, the CIO at JayHawk Acceptance and DARC Corporation, and a manager at EDS (an HP Company). 

Throughout his diverse and successful career, Jim has established himself as a leader and mentor working with companies of all sizes. These companies include manufacturers, major financial institutions, non-profits, business and technology consulting firms, and major technology & business process outsourcing companies.
