Course Description
Project Management professionals are familiar with the concepts of traditional project management, but some companies are turning to Agile Project Management. In this course, students will not only receive a thorough introduction to Agile project management, but will also learn how it aligns with traditional, PMBoK-based project management.

If you're considering PMI's new Agile Certified Practitionner (PMI-ACP), this course will give you 8 contact hours toward that certification in addition 8 PDUs or contact hours toward the PMP certification.

Course Objective
Students will identify the Agile project management principles and learn how to use Scrum to manage projects.

Target Student
This course is intended for Project Managers, Program Managers, or anyone who wants to learn about Agile Project Management.

Ed is a Retired USAF Veteran and brings over 29 years of project, program and portfolio management experience to the classroom. He has an energetic passion for teaching project management and takes time to ensure students understand the material before moving forward. Ed has thousands of hours in the classroom teaching project management courses. He is a former president of the Alamo PMI Chapter and has an Executive MBA from the University of Texas San Antonio and Bachelors in Management of Information Systems from Colorado Technical University
